Ingredients
- 1 bunch of kale, washed and dried
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste or sprinkle with paprika
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Remove the centre stems and either tear or cut up the leaves.
- Toss the kale and olive oil together in a large bowl; sprinkle with salt. Spread on a baking sheet (or two, depending on the amount of kale). Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes or until crisp.
Tips when preparing
When you wash the kale make sure you dry it completely before putting in the oven otherwise they will be chewy not crispy. If you are making a large batch spread the kale out over 2 baking trays. Make sure not to overcrowd the trays or they won’t turn out as crispy. Keep an eye on them as they cook… some ovens are hotter than others.
